mum had eight grandchildren and five greatgrandchildren sadly alfie the fifth was born five month after mums passing so they never had the pleasure of meeting each other, although im sure mums looking down on him.her grandchildren and great grandchildren were the light of her life and her love and patience with them was endless. they didnt just see her as their mama she was also their friend and mentor, they all miss her deeply. mum worked all her life although she did have to take early retirement as she was not well not long after our dad passed.mum was only fifty two when she lost her much loved husband and i know it devastated her,but for us her children she stayed strong.
